Information Security Analyst
Job Description and skills:
- Plan, prioritize, and manage security incident response activities by defining scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Perform SOC monitoring, alert triage, and incident response across enterprise environments using SIEM, SOAR, and EDR tools.
- Investigate and respond to security events (phishing, malware, endpoint threats) by following structured playbooks and documenting findings and outcomes.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks by applying risk management frameworks and documenting risk impact, likelihood, and remediation strategies.
- Lead and support DLP initiatives by defining requirements, monitoring implementation progress, and ensuring compliance with data protection standards (PII, PHI, PCI).
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (SOC, IT, compliance, cloud teams) and external partners to coordinate incident response and security initiatives.
